Zero Trust

ZTNA

English

Overview

A mechanism, based on zero trust principles, that individually verifies and authorizes access to internal applications on a per-user, per-device basis.

Details

Short for Zero Trust Network Access. Whereas a traditional VPN grants access to an entire network, ZTNA authenticates and authorizes access to each application individually, minimizing the blast radius (the scope for lateral movement) if a breach occurs.
