A fully managed Azure service that generates and stores encryption keys using dedicated hardware (an HSM).
While Key Vault can also handle encryption keys, Managed HSM provides a single-tenant HSM not shared across other tenants, making it easier to meet the stricter key-management requirements often demanded by financial institutions and government agencies.
