Two Azure regions that are predetermined to be paired together for data redundancy and disaster recovery.
Each region is permanently paired with another region within the same country or geography, making it easier to plan recovery or continued service in the paired region if the other suffers a large-scale outage. Features like geo-redundant storage are built on top of this region-pairing structure.
