Overview

A feature that automatically switches the connected access point while a device is moving.

Details

A feature that, as a device moves, automatically switches its connected access point according to signal conditions. If switching takes too long, a call or video conference can briefly cut out. Even under the same SSID, switching to a different access point means re-authenticating and reacquiring an IP address, which can introduce a delay of a few hundred milliseconds each time.
